Things I’ve built
A running log of what I make — a 3D-printing shop, a self-hosted home server, and a handful of small tools. Some are live; others are still in progress.
Live & completed 6 projects
-
AL & Oats 3D
LiveA small 3D-printing shop and storefront — custom and made-to-order prints. Includes the public site and an Etsy presence, with orders and shipping tracked in a self-updating ledger behind the scenes.
-
SteadyDraw
LiveA made-to-measure ordering tool for AL & Oats 3D: pick a custom size, submit the form, and the request is emailed straight through for a quote. Built as a lightweight form handler with no third-party form service.
-
The Mac mini home server
LiveA always-on Mac mini running a stack of self-hosted services — a media library, a private photo backup, document archiving with OCR, and a personal-finance dashboard — all reachable over a private mesh network. There’s a block diagram of the whole thing.
-
Courtney Number One
LiveThis site. A hand-built personal page served from the home server behind a secure tunnel — plus a small self-hosted connector that lets AI assistants ask it for the current time.
-
Recession tracker
LiveA self-hosted dashboard that pulls together dozens of economic indicators — from federal data sources and market feeds — into one at-a-glance view of where the economy is heading. Runs on the home server and refreshes on a schedule.
-
Cable Bench
LiveA tiny diagnostic tool that classifies USB cables by the link speed they actually negotiate — handy for telling a “charge-only” cable apart from a fast data one without guessing.

-
Fantasy draft assistant
In progressA live fantasy-football draft companion that watches the board in real time and suggests the best available pick as the draft unfolds. Wiring up the live connection and pick logic now.
-
Trailer price tracker
In progressA weekly digest that scans utility-trailer listings across marketplaces and emails a summary of what’s new and how prices are moving — so a good deal doesn’t slip by. Tuning the sources and the digest format.
This list grows as projects ship. Want to know more about any of them? Drop me a line from the home page.
